Frequently Asked Questions

What are your boarding requirements?
Prior to boarding and/or daycare, you must provide proof of the following vaccinations from your vet:

Bordetella – within the past 6 months
Parvovirus & Distemper- given annually or every 3 years
Rabies – proof of valid vaccination with either the shot given annually or every 3 years

We also require that your dog be on a regular flea and tick prevention program.

Do you administer medication?

Yes. I administer medications (pills, ointments, etc.) on a case-by-case basis free of charge. Just provide the medication and instructions on drop off.

What if our travel arrangements change and we are away longer than expected?
That is not a problem. I do ask that you notify me as soon as possible upon any schedule changes. My primary concern is the safety of your pets.

When do I pay for services?

Payment is due upon scheduling of services and/or prior to service. I accept cash or personal check.

How can we make reservations?
I suggest that you reserve services as far in advance as possible. Remember that holidays and weekends are the busiest times and I need to plan accordingly to provide the best possible service for every client. However, if something should arise last minute, please do not hesitate to call and I will do my best to work you into my schedule.

Do you provide service on Holidays?
I provide my services on all holidays including New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Do you offer pickup or drop off services?

Yes, for an additional fee I will pick up your dog(s) and/or drop them off to you at an agreed upon time.

Do you offer grooming services?

I am associated with a local groomer and can arrange to have your dog(s) groomed while they are in my care prior to them going home to you.
